Kidnappers Arrested in Edo as Search Intensifies for Abducted Woman

A woman who was reportedly abducted in Auchi on Wednesday has prompted a swift response from local hunters and vigilante groups.

According to reports, members of the search team pursued the suspected kidnappers into a nearby forest and successfully apprehended three suspects. The arrested individuals are said to be assisting security operatives and local volunteers in locating the victim and identifying the hideout where she is allegedly being held.

Meanwhile, concerns remain over the safety of teachers and students who are reportedly still being held captive following a separate abduction incident in Oyo State.

Authorities have yet to release an official statement on the Edo incident, while efforts continue to secure the release of all victims and bring those responsible to justice.
