Gombe ADC Scribe defect to APC, declares support for Jamilu Gwamna

The Gombe State Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Dr. Ahmed Gana, and a House of Representatives aspirant, Hon. Mohammed Bello, have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The duo announced their resignation from the ADC and move to the APC in Gombe citing the need to align with what they described as a more development-driven political platform.

Speaking after the defection, Bello said the decision followed consultations with his supporters and political associates, adding that the move was in the interest of strengthening representation and development in Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency.

Gana also said his exit from the ADC was informed by the desire to contribute to a broader political structure capable of delivering effective leadership and governance.

Both politicians declared their support for Dr. Jamilu Gwamna, a frontline political figure in Gombe politics, and pledged to work with his camp within the APC ahead of future political engagements.

Gwamna welcomed the development, describing it as part of ongoing political consultations aimed at strengthening unity and expanding support across the state.
