“I sincerely thank the leadership of our great party, the Nigeria Democratic Congress, for finding me worthy of this honour. I accept this responsibility with humility and a renewed determination to continue serving the people of Ajeromi-Ifelodun with dedication, integrity and selflessness,” he said.
OmoBarca reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of his constituents, promising to champion policies and programmes that will improve the lives of ordinary people if elected.
He said his years of humanitarian activities were driven by a desire to uplift the less privileged, empower young people and create opportunities for sustainable development.
According to him, effective representation goes beyond lawmaking and must include accessibility, constant engagement and practical attention to the needs of constituents.
The NDC candidate pledged to focus on youth empowerment, education, healthcare, infrastructure development, job creation, economic growth and security.
He also urged members and supporters of the party to remain united and disciplined as preparations intensify for the 2027 general elections.
OmoBarca called on eligible voters in Ajeromi-Ifelodun to participate actively in the democratic process by registering, obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards and voting peacefully during the elections.

OmoBarca assured residents that he would remain accessible, accountable and responsive while working with community leaders, youth groups, women associations, religious organisations and other stakeholders.
He thanked the people of Ajeromi-Ifelodun for their continued support and promised not to take their trust for granted.
