Gospel singer Bunny Asila has touched the hearts of many Kenyans after coming through for a struggling vendor he met while going about his day.

Source: Facebook Asila, who is known for his gospel ministry and acts of kindness towards people in need, shared an emotional encounter with a man named Robert, whose dedication to his hustle left him moved.

How did Bunny Asila help the mayai vendor? The singer shared a video showing the moment he came across Robert resting by the roadside near a football pitch.

At the time, Robert was holding onto a cooler box filled with ice cream he was selling at the field. Concerned after noticing how tired he looked, Asila approached him and started a conversation to understand his situation.

During their chat, Robert opened up about his daily routine, revealing that he hardly gets enough rest because he works throughout the day and night.

He explained that at night he walks around selling eggs, while during the day he sells ice cream to make a living.

Touched by his story, Asila decided to buy the entire cooler box for KSh 1,200 and encouraged Robert to take time off and rest.

The singer was later seen giving out the ice creams to football players at the field, explaining that he wanted to randomly bless someone who was working hard.

“Jana, as I was out and about, I came across my friend Robert while in his hustle. He looked really tired and sleepy. Sometimes watu hukapitia huku nje bana. Robert anapiga biz ya mayai usiku na ice cream mchana. Story yake iliniguza sana. Sometimes you may not need to do much, the little you do could be the greatest blessing to someone,” Asila shared.
