Asikoko: Blending African, European couture

Nigerian-born designer, Tobechukwu Asikoko, has consistently exhibited creativity that blends traditional and contemporary European couture that bridges the gap in fashion innovations.  

Asikoko draws inspiration from his Umunede heritage and social environment, to create unconventional, sustainable luxury garments.

His work features techniques like laser cutting and fabric manipulation to merge indigenous storytelling with contemporary tailoring.

From his “Senator” denim collection to asymmetrical leather pieces, his designs challenge boundaries and resonate globally. After honing his craft through internships in Milan and academic training in the United Kingdom, Asikoko continues to elevate his brand, cementing a reputation for creative versatility ahead of his upcoming London show.
