Lionel Messi Gets Honorary Recognition in Argentina

The name of Lionel Messi will never be forgotten in the history of the Argentina and the national team following his recent honorary recognition.

The Argentine FA decided to name the national team training center after the midfield maestro, it will no longer be called, Julio Humberto Grondona’s training center. The unveiling ceremony was witnessed by his teammates and the team’s coaching crew.

Messi was given that honour because of his fantastic performance for Argentina especially his role in helping them to win the FIFA World Cup. The 37-year-old recently scored his 800th career goal for both club ( Barcelona, PSG) and country.
