Newcastle flop Joselu was the surprise star of the show as he bagged a brace to help Spain to a 3-0 win over Norway.
The 32-year-old was making his senior debut for Spain and scored two goals in two minutes to wrap up the win in the Euro 2024 qualifier.

The Newcastle flop bagged a brace to see off Norway
It was the perfect start to qualifying for Luis de la Fuente’s side, while Norway were left to rue their lack of potency in attack.
In part, this was down to the absence of Manchester City forward Erling Haaland who was not deemed fit enough to link up with his international teammates due to a groin injury.
For Joselu, it was the sort of night that he could only have dreamed of.
After coming through the youth ranks with Celta, the forward joined Real Madrid where he made just two senior appearances, scoring two goals.
Spells in Germany with Hoffenheim and Hannover 96 followed before the towering striker moved to England with Stoke City.
Joining for £5.75million, Joselu scored just four in 27 appearances for the Potters, before completing a move to Newcastle.

That move to St James’ Park didn’t go much better though, with the Spaniard failing to impress and scoring just seven times in 52 appearances.
However after his disappointing time in the Premier League, Joselu got his career back on track with Alaves, before earning a move to Espanyol last summer where he’s bagged 13 in 27 games this term to earn his first-ever Spain call-up.
