GHANA: Nathan Opoku scores and assists in OH Leuven win over Mechelen

Ghana international, Nathan Opoku, had a game to remember on Saturday, April 8, in Oud-Heverlee Leuven’s win over KV Mechelen in the Belgian league.

The player, who is on loan from Leicester City, was involved in his first two goals for the club as they recorded a 4-1 victory. Opoku scored and provided an assist in the routine win to help his side move up the table.

11 minutes after the break, Leuven extended their lead as Mathieu Maretes also got on the scoresheet before Opoku registered an assist four minutes later, setting up Musa Al-Taamari to score the fourth.

The Ghanaian was pulled out after 70 minutes and was replaced by Franck Idumbo-Muzambo.
