The building collapsed because of a truck that ran into it, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) has reported.
The seven-storey building under construction in 1st Avenue Banana Island collapsed yesterday Wednesday, April 12, trapping workers who were still at the venue under the debris.

In a follow-up situation report, LASEMA announced that the building collapsed because a truck had run into the building.
However, no loss of life.
