Kaizer Chiefs are preparing to offer goalscoring prodigy Vicky Mkhawana a senior team contract following his impressive displays at the Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Algeria.

Mkhawana was the star of the show when South Africa beat Zambia by 3-2 during the Under 17 Africa Cup of Nations match played in Algeria on Wednesday.

The Limpopo-born striker scored a brace for Amajimbos to keep their hopes alive of qualifying for the knockout stages of the continental tournament in Algiers.

According to a source close to Amakhosi, the club has already begun discussions to hand him a senior team contract.
