Akarachi Amadi is a Nigerian businessman, investor, politician and philanthropist. He was in the news after winning the House of Representatives seat in the federal constituency of Mbaitoli/Ikeduru in Imo state.
Amadi is the founder of Integrity group initiative (IGI) and the CEO of Akarachi foundation.
He is the youngest Federal House of Representatives member, having won the seat at 28.
He polled 21, 372 total votes, defeating his closest competitor, Uche Ogbuagu of the Labour Party who received 18, 296 votes in the rerun election that took place on April 15, 2023.
He also defeated Henry Nwawuba, the incumbent and candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Usmond Ukanacho who received 7,202 votes and 6,681 votes respectively.
FAMILY
Amadi was born on the 22nd of November, 1995 to the family of Prince Charles Amadi (Charlvon) of Eziama in Ikeduru Local Government Council Area of Imo State. He is the third born of his parents.
He is married to Mrs Inimfon Amadi and they are blessed with two children.

EDUCATION
Amadi attended the Prime international school Warri and obtained his first school leaving certificate.
He also attended the Straight Gate college Remo, Ogun state and obtained is west African senior school certificate.
Amadi graduated from the Convenant university, Ota in Ogun state with a degree in Chemical engineering.
CAREER
Upon completing his education, Amadi delved into entrepreneurship by founding several companies and developing interests in diverse sectors of the economy, particularly in the downstream sub-sector of the economy.
As the founder of Integrity Group Initiative (IGI) and CEO of Akarachi Foundation, he has provided homes for the homeless, scholarships for thousands of Nigerian students, and healthcare to those in need.
He was the Vice President of the Network for African Student Entrepreneurs (NASE).
Amadi’s first step into the political world was in 2023 when he contested to represent the Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives.
He won the election, defeating both the incumbent, Henry Nwawuba and his closest rival, Uche Ogbuagu.
