The Nigerian film industry has been thrown into deep mourning following the shocking death of actress and producer Ademola Allwell, who passed on after a health emergency on December 27, 2025.

In a heartfelt message posted on social media, Muyiwa Ademola admitted he was overwhelmed by the news, confessing that words failed him at the moment of grief.
“It is one of the saddest news I ever got! I do not know what to write,” he said, laying bare the shock that accompanied Allwell’s passing.
Beyond mourning, the actor – who is also a sought-after producer – used the moment to reflect on forgiveness, mortality and inner peace, urging reconciliation while life remains. “But please and please, if I have wrong you in any way… do forgive me,” he wrote.
