ABUJA : Amid the excitement generated by the countdown to the Afrique Mommies Award (AMA) 2025, the organizers have said the show is a cultural movement that blends recognition, entertainment, and empowerment.
Media Director, Emmanuel Olorunmagba, in a statement on Saturday to Weekend Independent, said the event which has come to be known as a platform for celebrating excellence and recognizing persons whose impact transcends borders, also aims at uniting leaders, creatives, and changemakers under one roof.
He said his year’s event which is scheduled for October 31st at the elegant Park 8 Event Center, in Sam Houston, United States of America, will highlight contributions to society.
Powered by the Akinloye Laide Foundation (ALF), the 2025 edition will spotlight four key areas including the Mother Award which celebrates strength, sacrifice, and nurturing leadership and the City People category for honoring excellence and influence in community and professional life.
The two other areas include the celebrity award which recognizes entertainers and public figures who inspire and uplift, and the humanitarian award highlighting individuals and organizations dedicated to service and compassion.
In his release, Olorunmagba noted ALF’s mission to celebrate excellence, impact, and the spirit of community worldwide.
