Arrests Made in Gainesville Easter Shooting Investigation

Three people have been arrested in connection with the shooting at the TB McPherson Center.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Three people have been arrested in connection with a shooting at an Easter event in Gainesville, the police department announced Tuesday.

The three suspects involved include:

Gabriel Frazier, Jr. Kaniel Edwards Jarrett Jones The three suspects are held at the Marion County Jail.

Police responded to the TB McPherson Center after a reported shooting on Thursday, April 24, where three people were injured. It was later revealed that one of the injured victims, 20-year-old Ontaria Baisden, had died.

The Gainesville Police Department released surveillance video showing a shooter in red shorts and a grey shirt running into a crowd. First Coast News asked if the shooter in the video has been identified. We are waiting to hear back.
