Recall that the clergy had said that swearing-in President-elect, Bola Tinubu before the tribunal delivers verdict on the petitions made no sense. Responding to this comment, Asari Dokubo dragged Bishiop Onaiyekan, calling him “a pretender”.
“This election has shown so many people who have being pretending in Nigeria. Since I became Muslim on the 17th of September 1988, I have always known Bishop Onaiyekan as somebody who is promoting inter-faith harmony in Nigeria. But his recent statement has just shown that be was pretending all these years. If he truly promotes inter-faith harmony, he will not put more fuel to the fire.
