Atalanta receive transfer day deadline bid for Ademola Lookman

Atalanta have reportedly received a deadline day transfer bid for Ademola Lookman this summer.

Bayern Munich have made an approach to sign Ademola Lookman from Atalanta, with negotiations centering around a loan deal that includes a sizable fee and an option to buy at a significant price.

The 27-year-old Nigerian international has been a standout performer for Atalanta in recent seasons, playing a pivotal role in their attacking setup and making his mark in both Serie A and European competition.

His pace, direct dribbling, and ability to score in decisive moments have drawn the attention of top European clubs, with Bayern now emerging as a leading contender for his signature.

According to reports, Lookman remains determined to leave Atalanta this summer, as he seeks a new challenge at the highest level.

Bayern’s interest reflects their push to reinforce their forward line, providing additional creativity and goal threat alongside established names such as Harry Kane and Michael Olise.

The proposed structure of the deal, a loan with a sizable fee and an option to buy, could prove attractive to both clubs.

For Bayern, it offers flexibility while assessing Lookman’s fit within Vincent Kompany’s system, while Atalanta stand to secure a strong financial package should the move become permanent.

With other clubs also monitoring the situation, Bayern are expected to accelerate talks in the coming days to secure the Nigerian forward’s services.

It has however also been added that Atalanta are only open to a permanent transfer away from the club.
