Ademola Lookman failed to get his desired transfer away from Atalanta, and he is unhappy about it…
Atalanta captain Marten De Roon has admitted that the team is willing to welcome Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman when he decides to return to action for the club, Soccernet.ng reports.
Over the last few months, Lookman has been at loggerheads with Atalanta due to his desire to leave for a bigger club.
The Super Eagles star openly called out the club on social media and even went on strike for over two weeks.

Unfortunately for him, his antics did not work out, as Atalanta maintained their stubborn stance on his transfer.
Now, the season has started, but the standoff is still on. Atalanta want to reintegrate Lookman into the squad, but the 27-year-old winger is adamant.
Lookman was expected to join his teammates for their game against Lecce last weekend. But before the game, coach Ivan Juric inferred that the Super Eagles star did not have the right mentality to play. The Croatian tactician still even criticized him after the game, despite a handsome 4-1 win.
Over the last few days, Lookman’s availability for their UEFA Champions League game against PSG at Parc des Prince has been in question.
But Atalanta have now confirmed that the former Everton man will not be making the trip to Paris with his teammates.

Despite his handsome contribution of 52 goals and 25 assists in 112 appearances for La Dea, If the Super Eagles star continues to sit on the bench, his value in the market will reduce. He also risks losing his place in the national team.
The Everton man will have to clear his head as soon as possible and return to doing what he is best at.
