Nigerian Singer and Songwriter, Ayo Maff, recorded an original Afrobeats song for Chris Ihidero’s upcoming movie, Aloma.
The news was shared at NECLive 2025, where Ihidero praised Ayo Maff’s talent and the vibrant energy he brought to the project.
Ihidero disclosed that Ayo Maff’s song was crafted specifically for the film, adding a vibrant musical layer that elevates its emotional depth and storytelling.
According to him, the artist’s versatility left the entire team impressed.
Beyond the soundtrack, Aloma also marks Ayo Maff’s acting debut, an experience he describes as fulfilling a long-time passion. Known for hit singles such as “Dealer,” “Are You There,” and “7 Days,” the fast-rising star shared that acting has always been his second love after music, making this project the perfect opportunity to explore both worlds at once.
Meanwhile, PinPoint Productions has confirmed the production of Aloma, the debut feature film from Chris Ihidero.
