BBNaijaS10: Joanna, Kulture Evicted In Week 8, Kola Faces Questions Over Dede

The Big Brother Naija house witnessed another shake-up on Sunday night as Joanna and Kulture were evicted during the live eviction show, barely 24 hours after Thelma Lawson and Bright Morgan exited the game on Saturday night.

Joanna, whose stay in the house sparked curiosity over her closeness to fellow housemate Jason Jae and Faith, addressed the issue in her post-eviction chat with host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

She clarified that despite sharing a bed with Jason and fans speculating about “duvet moments,” nothing romantic happened.

“Jason and I are just friends,” Joanna said firmly. She also mentioned Faith, another male housemate, noting that their bond was equally platonic.

“Faith is also my friend, and how he chooses to express words to me is for him,” she explained.

When Ebuka asked her on stage, if she felt disappointed about her eviction, Joanna smiled and replied, “I’m not disappointed. Even coming here is a win for me.”

Kulture, in his own chat with Ebuka, stressed that he was not romantically involved with anyone in the house. He kept his answers short but clear, brushing off any speculation about relationships.

Attention later shifted to Kola, who has been entangled in a complicated dynamic with housemate Dede. Ebuka confronted him over his mixed signals, asking if his actions toward Dede were genuine or just strategy for the show.

Kola insisted his feelings were real but admitted he was cautious because Dede already has a relationship outside the house.

“It’s very clear she’s in a relationship outside. For me, I’m just trying to be in the moment. In this house, you need someone you can rely on, someone who has your back. I wear my emotions on my sleeve, and that’s just how I feel,” he explained.

Ebuka pressed further, pointing out that Kola’s actions sometimes made it appear as though Dede was a “conquest” for him. But Kola pushed back, saying his interest was not about conquest but companionship.

“She’s a very beautiful woman, no doubt. I see her every day, so feelings are normal. But I respect the fact she’s committed outside the house. I’m just living in the moment,” he said.

Before signing off, Ebuka revealed that this week’s Head of House challenge would be the last one of the season — a signal that the game is entering its final stretch.

With just two weeks left, evictions are cutting deeper, alliances are being tested, and the battle for the grand prize is heating up.
