Bill de Blasio’s ex Nomiki Konst said he wanted to have a child with her before he cheated on her with Arizona mayor Roxanna Valenzuela.
Konst dropped the bombshell during her appearance on the YouTube show “Why Did They Break Up?”.
The political commentator, 41, shared that she has Endometriosis and underwent six rounds of egg freezing. She said she brought this up with de Blasio, 64, and that he was not only “open” to the conversation about the possibility of having children with her, he actually asked her lots of questions about it.

“On that flight to California, we talked the entire time about the process and what it would be like, we just got pretty serious very quickly,” she recalled.
When host Touré asked her, “He wanted to have a child with you?,” she replied, “Yes.”
But a source told Page Six that Konst and de Blasio weren’t trying to have children together, despite her freezing her eggs.
Sources dropped details to Page Six about the former New York City mayor’s headline-making affair with Valenzuela, specifically, how it began. De Blasio and Valenzuela began seeing each other more than a month before he split from Konst, whom he dated for nearly a year.

The politicians first met for a business lunch in September, then the pair went back to his apartment to have sex hours later, a source told us.
Two days later, the two had another tryst when the South Tucson mayor took him to volunteer at a soup kitchen.
De Blasio came clean to Konst about the affair while they were on a vacation in Greece when she was in the midst of a round of IVF for egg freezing, a source said.
Still, a source close to Konst told us that she and de Blasio attempted to work it out. But we’re told that on Nov. 4, she “learned he was still talking to Roxanna and [Roxanna] was coming to NYC [to see him] while they were walking into Zohran Mamdani’s election night victory party.”

De Blasio is still dating Valenzuela, 41, and tells Page Six that he “fell in love” with her.
“I wish Nomiki well and I’m sorry for how our relationship ended,” he told us. “I fell in love with someone else and I should have told her sooner. I’m now in a wonderful relationship with Roxanna Valenzuela that we will continue to nurture and keep private.”
De Blasio has two children with Chirlane McCray, who formerly identified as a lesbian. The pair separated in 2023 and do not intend to divorce.
