Boni Haruna Weeps At Yakubu Tsara’s Funeral In Yola

Former Adamawa State Governor Boni Haruna has wept profusely at the interment of his political mentor and uncle Mr. Yakubu Tsara who died recently.

Speaking at the graveside of his mentor Mr. Boni Haruna said he has lost one of the closest uncle’s to his political career, he described Mr. Yakubu Tsara, former executive secretary of the National Sugar Development Council as a bold and courageous human being who was so closed to him through out the period he was the Governor of Adamawa State.

Thousands of well-wishers had gathered at the home of Mr. Yakubu Tsara at the Dougirei Government House layout to pay their last respect to Mr. Yakubu Tsara who died in a private hospital in Abuja over the weekend.

Mr. Boni Haruna who is still in the Peoples Democratic Party PDP while his eltswile master and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has since moved to the African Democratic Congress Party ADC but Boni Haruna has remained mute over his next political move.

During the burial Boni Haruna denied Journalists access to his house to answer a few questions from them, he was vehemently not to allow reporters to visit him.

Another friend of the late Mr. Yakubu Tsara, Oscar Abdua AbdulRahman described Yakubu Tsara as a detribalization of a political mentor who played his part well in Adamawa State and beyond.

Thousands of family members and friends including Atiku Abubakar sent in their condolences while his children and grandchildren threw sand into the grave to bade amiable Yakubu Tsara bye.
