His effort nestled into the top left corner which left Ukraine goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin with no chance
In the 37th minute, he set up Harry Kane for England’s opener, before he got on the scoresheet himself just moments later.
Picking up the ball from outside the box, the youngster curled home a stupendous effort into the top left corner.
On Saka’s goal, England legend Stuart Pearce said on commentary for talkSPORT: “A world-class finish. Back to goal, turned it onto his left and wowee, goalkeeper absolutely no chance.
“Curled right inside the far post, brilliant finish from a magnificent player who is getting better and better.”
Pearce added at half time: “He’s my player of the season at this moment in time.
“He gets better and better and he’s been a thorn in the Ukrainian’s side.

Only Harry Kane (55) has more goals for England than Saka (eight) in Southgate’s most recent squad
Saka is spearheading Arsenal’s Premier League title charge having chipped in with 12 goals and ten assists in 28 games.
His latest moment of brilliance had lifelong Arsenal fan Piers Morgan waxing lyrical, tweeting: “Saka’s becoming the most exciting England talent since Gazza. Sensational player.”
But there’s more to Saka than his incredible talent, with Three Lions teammate James Maddison very impressed by the maturity of the 21-year-old.
On Saka, Maddison told talkSPORT: “Top player. Me and Hendo were just joking with Bukayo, saying it was all in the assist and my run!

Maddison was one of many to hail England and Arsenal’s Starboy
“But what a goal, eh? He’s such a good player, we see it week in, week out in the Premier League.
“For such a young man he’s got a what I would describe as a calm presence on the pitch. He doesn’t get flustered and that’s probably why he’s firing on all cylinders at the top of the Premier League.”
Maddison’s claims have been echoed by England boss Gareth Southgate, who believes the sky’s the limit for Saka.
Southgate told talkSPORT: “Whatever he wants to, basically. He has the humility and desire to keep improving and improving.

Saka is making his name in English football and there should be plenty more to come
“They’re all fabulous to work with, you can see from his smile and the way he is what that must be like to work with every day. That’s how he is.
“His technical ability is fantastic, he’s totally dependable. Every bit of praise and acknowledgment he gets he deserves.”
