CCC Hosts National Symposium on Innovations in Crisis Communication
The Centre for Crisis Communication (CCC), Abuja, has announced it will host a one-day National Symposium on Innovations in Crisis Communication on November 24, 2025, at the Paul Dike Hall, National Defence College, Abuja.
The symposium is specifically designed to explore the transformative role of emerging technologies in strengthening national resilience and enhancing crisis response mechanisms, as Nigeria continues to contend with diverse security challenges across its regions.
The event will bring together key stakeholders in security, technology, media, and public affairs to share insights, strategies, and tools for more effective crisis communication.

The symposium will be chaired by the Honourable Minister of Information, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, while the keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA). A distinguished panel of experts in crisis communication, security, and digital innovation will also feature as resource persons.
The CCC remains committed to fostering timely, credible, and coordinated communication during national emergencies. The symposium underscores that commitment and seeks to strengthen collaboration among key sectors for a more secure and resilient Nigeria.
