Chelsea’s season took a turn for the better as they sealed a 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

The Blues are through to the quarter-finals thanks to goals from Raheem Sterling and Kai Hevertz.

The England winger opened the scoring in the first half to haul the hosts level in the tie after he smashed Ben Chilwell’s cross into the net.

And Havertz scored the winner in the second half from the penalty spot after seeing his initial effort hit the post.

But he was given the chance to take it again after a Dortmund player encroached into the area.

Dortmund pushed for an equaliser but Jude Bellingham missed a sitter and that was as good as things got for the Bundesliga side.
