Chris Robshaw’s wife swipes at Craig Revel Horwood as she shares how she REALLY feels about his Strictly Come Dancing elimination

Chris Robshaw’s wife has taken a swipe at Craig Revel Horwood as she shared how she really felt about his elimination from Strictly Come Dancing.

Sunday’s episode of the BBC competition saw the former rugby union player, 39, and dance partner Nadiya Bychkova, 36, get booted off the show.

The pair performed a Salsa to Maria by Ricky Martin, while Balvinder Sopal, 46, and Julian Caillon, 30, danced their Paso Doble to Diablo Rojo by Rodrigo y Gabriela.

After performing their Saturday night dances for one final time, the judges gave their verdict, and judge Craig, 60, was left with the casting vote – and he decided to save the EastEnders star.

Chris’s wife Camilla took to Instagram to share how proud she is of how far he has come on the show – and left a message to Craig at the end of her post.

Camilla, who tied the knot with Chris in 2018 and share two sons Wilding, four, and Hunter, one, said: ‘We are so proud of you @chrisrobshawrugby.

‘You will always be our champion. The show has given us some amazing family memories to cherish forever.

‘You have bought us so much joy doing Strictly. It’s been a year from hell, but like always, you continue to put your family first, and show up for us even in the toughest times.

‘Thank you for being our forever winner, you are our boys world (including Rico), and the best human.

‘To see you thriving, and living your best life in sequins, has been brilliant. We know how hard you trained, and how much you loved this experience.

‘We are so proud of you. And the boys will always mark you a ten for being the best daddy. You are good enough, and we love you. Forever our winner.’

She couldn’t help but throw some shade at one of the judges and signed off with: ‘P.S. Craig – BOO to you [ghost emoji].’

After being voted off the show, Chris said: ‘For me, coming onto this journey, I had no confidence.

‘To be told I had world-class qualities on the dancefloor today, even though we have to go home, that’s amazing to hear, so thank you very much. It’s given me such confidence.

‘To my partner Nadiya, I’m sorry.

‘But it’s been an amazing journey, she’s been a brilliant teacher, I’ve developed so much, and it’s been a great ride – so thank you.’

Turning to her celebrity dance partner, an emotional Nadiya said: ‘Chris, I have had a few wonderful weeks with you and I saw all the qualities that made you the captain of your country.

‘To watch you [go] from a non-dancer and non-performer [to then] blossom, improve and develop.’

She added: ‘On Friday night when we were here rehearsing you told me that you couldn’t wait to perform on Saturday and that’s the best confirmation that you have got that feeling and that love for dance – and that means the world.

‘Sometimes on this show you win by getting a glitterball, but I feel this year I won just getting you as my partner. So, thank you so much.’

Sunday’s results show featured a musical performance of Been a Minute by Leigh-Anne Pinnock, accompanied by a fierce group Tango performed by dancers Michelle Tsiakkas, Luba Mushtuk, Nancy Xu, Jowita Przystał, Gorka Marquez and Neil Jones.

Sunday’s pre-recorded results show also featured a teaser trailer for Icons Week, with each celeb lip syncing to a quote from the musical icon they’ll be performing as next weekend.

The pair have followed in the footsteps of Thomas Skinner and Ross King, who have also been voted off the programme.

Meanwhile Strictly fans were left fuming after La Voix avoided Sunday’s dance off despite her ‘disastrous’ routine landing her at the bottom of the leaderboard.

The Drag Race star, 45, and pro partner Aljaž Škorjanec, 35, received the show’s lowest ever week-four score on Saturday for their Cha-Cha-Cha with just 14 points, including a two from Shirley Ballas.
