Female Nigerian Pastor, Dolapo Adelakun has urged women never to try to own anything that can be taken away from them.
The clergywoman also advised them to find their peace in God alone as she narrated her visit to a psychiatric hospital.
Pastor Adelakun narrated how the Holy Spirit lectured her on not owning anything else except faith in God and love for herself.

She added that after the lecture, she visited a psychiatric hospital and when she was taken to the female ward, there were many female patients and “all of them” were there due to marital and family issues -issues arising from the things men in their lives did to them.
When taken to the male ward, she said there were only 4 male patients and three were there because of drug-related issues and one was there due to job loss.
She urged women to find peace in God so that the actions of their husbands, fathers, children will not send them into a mental spiral.

“I woke up one beautiful morning and the Holy Spirit began to give me a life lecture.
He said, Never OWN anything except these 2 assets – Your Faith in God and your love for yourself. He went on, do not own your children, do not own your husband, do not own your properties.
Do not own anything that can be taken away from you. This is the secret of Peace. It took me a while to sip this down my throat until I was called on to pray for an aunt at a Psychiatric hospital.
I entered with my heart pounding like a pestle in a mortar. I was gripped with fear. The ward was over crowded with beautiful women of different ages. Old and young, they were there. When I finished praying for the aunt, the matron took me round to pray for the others and was telling me their case history.
Aaaaalll of them, I mean all of them were there because of marital and family issues…… her fiancée jilted her, she lost a child, her husband married a second wife, her daughter called her a witch, her husband died prematurely, her father did not include her in the will etc.
After praying for the women, I was taken to the male ward and I was shocked to my marrows. Only 4 men were in the ward. 3 young ones as a result of ‘igbo’ and the elderly who lost his high paying job.
Women, please stop holding on to anything apart from your FAITH IN GOD and your LOVE FOR YOURSELF. When every other thing fails, please keep these two.
When you lose your mind, you have lost everything.
The devil will shake everything you are holding on to, so be ready.
Hold on Only to the internal assets … Faith and self-love.”
