Croatia: Awaziem Scores 5th League Goal In Hajduk Split’s Home Win

Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem was on target for Hajduk Split who defeated Osijek 3-0 in the Croatian topflight on Saturday night.

It is Awaziem’s fifth goal in 26 league appearances for Hajduk Split this season.

The last time Awaziem scored was in October 2022 in a 3-1 home win in the league.

The 26-year-old opened scoring in the 26th minute in the game which has now seen Hajduk record back-to-back wins.

With the win Hajduk Split maintain their second place position in the 10-team league standing.

They are on course for a place in the Europa Conference League qualification spot.
