Cultists hack man to death in Lagos

Suspected Cultists have hacked a man, Mojeed Akeem, 39, to death in Lagos. The man was killed at Bajulaiye , Somolu, Lagos.
The armed men believed to be members of Aiye cult group numbering about 20 stormed the Alarape market at about 11: 15pm On Sunday, met Akeem where he was sleeping and hacked him to death.
According to a source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, the deceased was working in the market.
“Because of the incident, the market had been shutdown to honour him. He was a nice person. The cultists threatened that they would come back to the market to kill more people .
“Those who were in the market when they came where able to identify two faces among the killers. one is Lakuta, while the other person is Tefeesi.
We are appealing to the state Commissioner of Police should help us in Somolu and Bariga. We are overwhelmed by cult activities in both communities. The CP, Idowu Owohunwa should please help us direct the Divisional Police Officer of Bariga and Alade to stormed the kidnappers hideouts and smoke them out.
“We are dying in silence .One Ramoni alias Cat Face is the leader of Aiye group, I want him arrested.”
