Dasuki Wins Kebbe/Tambuwal Federal Constituency Seat

Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Abdussamad Dasuki, has won the Kebbe/Tambuwal Federal Constituency election in Sokoto State following Saturday’s supplementary election.

Dasuki was declared winner of the election on Sunday morning.

He polled total 47,317 votes to defeat his closest challenger and incumbent Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Kokani Bala Kebbe, of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who scored total 34,282 votes.

Dasuki, a former Commissioner of Finance in the State, had earlier represented the Kebbe/Tambuwal  Federal Constituency from 2015 to 2019 during which he chaired the House Committee on Navy.
