Does Emma Hernan Actually Like Her Selling Sunset Co-Stars And Can They Stand Her? : NEWSFINALE

While Netflix has given fans tons of fun reality real estate shows, including Buying Beverly Hills starring Mauricio Umanksy, Selling Sunset just might be the best. There will be a season 6 and 7 of the reality series, and based on the fun storylines of the past five seasons, that’s definitely a good thing. And no matter how much viewers love cast members, a new person is always great since they shake things up.

Emma Hernan has starred on Selling Sunset since season 4 and her cheerful personality suggests that she truly loves everything that she does, from her real estate career to her business Emma Leigh & Co. But even though Emma and her co-stars seem to be pals, fans want to know the truth about their dynamic.

Is Emma Hernan Close With The Selling Sunset Cast?
Although Emma and Christine Quinn fought in season 4 of Selling Sunset, it’s a different story with Emma and the rest of her fellow cast members. As soon as Emma started working at the Oppenheim Group, showing off her skills, and joking around with the others, it seemed like a natural fit. And it’s nice to hear that the cameras captured the real and true dynamic that these realtors have.

Emma loves her Selling Sunset cast and told Today.com in an interview, “At the end of the day, these girls are like family. I think that’s what makes the show really great.” She definitely has a point, as fans like to see the happier moments between the cast along with the ones that make it good TV. For every fight there’s a scene when co-stars grab coffee or enjoy some time at each other’s homes and they always seem to have a good time together.

She also explained that she became friends with Chelsea Lazkani, who joined the cast in season 5. Emma said, “If I could have hand-picked someone, it would have been her. We have a really close bond.”

Based on Emma’s Instagram account, she gets along great with her co-stars. When she posted a photo with Mary Fitzgerald and a pregnant Heather El Moussa in July 2022, she shared her support that Heather was expecting a baby boy. She wrote, “I could not be happier for the two of you and can’t wait to meet him!!” Emma added, “Auntie Em reporting for duty.” Heather responded positively in the comments, writing that it was “The perfect day.”

Emma wrote in another Instagram caption of the “amazing friendships I’ve made because of the show.” She and Chrishell Stause often call each other “bestie” on social media. Earlier in 2023, Emma posted a photo at the premiere of Chrishell’s Lifetime movie, A Rose For Every Grave, and she attended it alongside the Selling Sunset cast. According to Harper’s Bazaar, Emma shared that she met Chrishell and Mary Fitzgerald before Selling Sunset and becoming a realtor: “I just happened to know them prior to even getting super involved in real estate.”

There’s definitely no denying that Selling Sunset features more than its fair share of fights. And cast members express their frustration with each other all the time. But the show has some moments of true friendship, and it’s nice to know that it’s for real.

For instance, when Chrishell really leaned on Mary after the news of her divorce from Justin Hartley became public, it was clear that Mary really cared about her. And Emma seems to genuinely love the people who she works with and consider them a big and important part of her life.

What Do Emma Hernan’s Selling Sunset Co-Stars Think?
While Emma Hernan has only sweet things to say about the people who she works and stars on Selling Sunset with, they seem to feel positive about her as well.

Emma’s Instagram account shows that she really is good friends with her cast members, and she and Chrishell Stause call each other BFFs on social media. Earlier in 2023, Emma posted a photo at the premiere of Chrishell’s Lifetime movie, A Rose For Every Grave, and she attended it alongside the Selling Sunset cast. She supported her friend and wrote in the caption “Everyone go watch it” and “So proud of you bestie.”

The feeling is definitely mutual and Chrishell seems to care a lot about Emma and speaks very highly of her on social media as well. Emma talked about her Selling Sunset cast in an interview with Boston Magazine in 2022. She said of the reality series, “It’s definitely juicy and all of that juice is definitely real and something that we have to sip every day. There’s drama, but all of the people that are actually on the show, I consider family…for the most part.”

Of course, Emma Hernan didn’t get along with absolutely everyone on Selling Sunset. And she might have been referring to Christine Quinn. They were never able to be friendly or feel okay with being in the same room as each other, and their conversations were always stilted and difficult.

Is Emma Hernan Dating Anyone?
Selling Sunset fans always wonder who Emma Hernan is dating as she spoke about being single on the reality series and also flirted with Micah McDonald, who she worked with.

The Things

While Emma doesn’t appear to have a boyfriend, at least not one that she talks about or posts on social media, she explained in December 2022 that she purchased a house with Peter Cornell, the ex who she shares with Christine Quinn.

According to Us Weekly, Emma said their dynamic was “complicated.” She added, “Am I gonna end up with Peter? I don’t know. “But right now, it’s just a friendship and a business relationship, and we do a lot of business together. So, if you see us spotted out and about, it doesn’t mean that we’re together.” Emma called it “an investment property.”

It’s unclear if Emma and Peter officially dated again, but they were photographed at a restaurant together in February 2022.
