CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – SpaceX is gearing up for another exciting launch from Florida’s Space Coast, as they prepare to send a fresh set of Starlink satellites into orbit later this week.
According to a press release from the company, a Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled to deliver 29 Starlink satellites into space, departing from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
The launch is currently set for Friday, with the window opening at 10:01 p.m. and extending until 2:01 a.m. Saturday, providing several opportunities for liftoff.
This mission marks the 24th flight for the first stage booster involved, which has previously supported a variety of missions, including Crew-6, SES O3b mPOWER-B, USSF-124, BlueBird 1-5, Nusantara Lima (PSN N5), along with 18 other Starlink launches.
After the rocket’s stage separation, the first stage is anticipated to make a landing on the droneship “Just Read the Instructions,” positioned in the Atlantic Ocean.
