According to @GallantDaletian, the shocking incident occurred in Katsina state, while the relatives of the abducted villagers kidnapped the bandits’ family members.
In the tweet that has gone viral online, the bandits released the abducted villagers and even offered monetary compensation.

Earlier,Twelve farmers have been abducted by suspected Boko Haram insurgents in the Mussa district of Askira‑Uba Local Government Area, Borno State.
According to a report from Legit NG, the abduction took place on Saturday evening, November 22 2025, while the farmers were returning from their farms.
Meanwhile, ASP Nahum Daso, confirmed the incident to Channels Television.
