Fabian Adibe: Your Uncle Didn’t Check On Anyone – Etinosa Tackles Uriel

Etinosa, in a post on her Instagram page, stated that Adibe’s colleagues and fans have the right to express sadness over his demise.

Nollywood actress, Etinosa Idemudia has tackled Big Brother Naija (BBN) star, Uriel Oputa.

This followed her message to colleagues over the death of her uncle, veteran movie star, Fabian Adibe.

Recall that Uriel had slammed Nigerians in the entertainment industry for not checking on Adibe before his d3ath.

Adibe died on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, after a brief illness.

Uriel alleged that nobody checked on her late uncle during his final days and expressed gratitude to friends who supported him.

Reacting to the remark, Etinosa, in a post on her Instagram page, stated that Adibe’s colleagues and fans have the right to express sadness over his demise, despite not checking on him while he was sick.

She wrote, “Agreed, we all have the right to grieve however we want. But every time a celebrity dies, there’s always that one person looking for a fight about “Don’t post him, don’t show fake love”. His colleagues and fans have every right to show sadness over his passing, whether they checked on him or not. It is not fake love.
