Falz Shuts Down Marriage Rumours

September 03, (THEWILL) — Nigerian rapper and actor, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has addressed recent speculation about his marital status, reaffirming his commitment to personal privacy.

Rumours of a secret marriage spread rapidly after the artist shared a series of traditional wedding-themed photos online, leading many fans to believe he had privately tied the knot.

Falz has since clarified that the images were part of a professional photo shoot and not from an actual ceremony.

In a response posted on his Instagram account, the rapper humorously noted that when he eventually gets married, the public might not believe it due to the current rumours.

He emphasised that he feels no obligation to publicly share private milestones publicly, but added that he might reconsider if love moves him to do so.

“When everybody realised I wasn’t really married, people kept saying it’s a case of the boy who cried wolf. When you eventually get married, nobody’s going to care. Bold of you to assume that if I’m actually getting married, I will share it, it’s so funny. But you never know. I might be in love and maybe decide to let the world know.
