Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke has poured his heart out to his colleague Kate Henshaw, blending humour, nostalgia, and admiration.
In a post to celebrate Kate’s 54th birthday, Jim Iyke reflected on their past relationship, including his youthful attraction to her, her support during their early acting days, and his regret over how things turned out.
The actor, who fantasized about the love child they could have had together if they had married, also praised her ageless beauty and the pressure it puts on younger women trying to match her standard.
Despite the explicit tone and repeated use of “fuck you,” he expressed deep respect, love, and birthday wishes to Kate Henshaw, calling her a “phenomenal creature” and a “force of nature.”
He wrote, “FUCK YOU, KATE.
Fuck you, on behalf of my 23-year-old self, for treating me like your baby brother when you knew all that time I wanted to hit that.
You kept manipulating my black ass by always looking out for me. Giving me a heads up at auditions. Sometimes, slipping a couple of bucks into my hands to make sure I got a meal or transport fare back to my cousin’s.
Every time I stared in those dancing, beautiful eyes of yours, you knew I had an imagination that was far from friendly.
Our love child would have been in his/her mid twenties now if you had let me experiment with my seed just a couple of times. What a gorgeous human we would have made together!
