The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested 52 suspects during coordinated operations targeting black spots and criminal hideouts across the nation’s capital.

In a statement released on Sunday, the Command said the raids were conducted by police operatives from the Nyanya, Gwagwa, Jikwoyi, Utako, Apo, Karmo, Iddo, and Kabusa Divisions.

The operations, which commenced around 11:45 p.m. on October 12, 2025, focused on uncompleted buildings and other identified criminal hideouts within the respective jurisdictions.

According to the report, all 52 suspects have been taken into custody and are currently undergoing thorough screening and interrogation. The Command added that those found culpable will be charged to court upon completion of investigations.

The FCT Police Command reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining intelligence-led raids and patrols aimed at ridding the territory of criminal elements and ensuring the safety of residents.
