FIFA reveals ticket prices for 2026 World Cup

FIFA has announced ticket prices for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with group stage tickets starting at $60 and the most exclusive seats for the final reaching up to $6,730.

For the first time in history, the tournament will adopt dynamic pricing, meaning ticket costs could fluctuate depending on demand.

The system was tested earlier this year during the FIFA Club World Cup, where semifinal ticket prices dropped significantly to fill seats.

The first phase of sales begins on Wednesday, September 10, at 11 a.m. ET, with exclusive early access for Visa cardholders.

“The message is clear: get your tickets early,” said Heimo Schirgi, FIFA’s Chief Operating Officer for World Cup 2026. “Anything could happen with pricing, so fans in host cities or those supporting the three nations should move fast.”

The pricing marks a sharp increase from past editions.

In 1994 (USA), tickets ranged from $25 to $475.

In 2022 (Qatar), tickets were priced from $69 to $1,607.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino emphasised that the pricing model is designed to balance revenue optimisation with stadium attendance.

The 2026 World Cup, expanded to 48 teams and 104 matches, will run from June 11 to July 19 across 11 cities in the United States, three in Mexico, and two in Canada.
