Former Kano State Governor and Ex- APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has reportedly been rushed to the emergency department of a London hospital, following what sources describe as a critical health scare.

The report was made public by human rights activist and humanitarian, Sir Engr. AY, via a post on X (formerly Twitter). According to him, Ganduje is currently under the care of specialist doctors and is in urgent need of prayers.

“Breaking: Ganduje is in critical condition now, and he has been rushed to the emergency department of specialist doctors in a London hospital. He is in need of our prayers 🙏,” Sir AY tweeted.

As of the time of this report, no official statement has been released by Ganduje’s family, aides, or the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership regarding his health status. The nature of the illness has also not been disclosed.

This development comes at a somber moment for the Nigerian political landscape, following the recent death of former President Muhammadu Buhari on July 13, 2025, also in London, where he had been receiving medical treatment.

The reported condition of Ganduje has sparked concern and prayer requests across political and social media circles, with many hoping for his swift recovery.
