A recent post by the popular American rapper, Nicki Minaj, has set the internet abuzz , as she congratulated the Nigerian celebrity couple, Davido and Chioma, on tying the knot .
The high-profile wedding of one of Nigeria’s biggest artists took place in Miami on the 11th August, 2025, and videos of the event have been circulating online.
The post Nicki made was a reply to an initial post by Davido, where he was shutting down naysayers, who were speaking badly about the wedding, trying to create controversy.
He wrote,
“We had an amazing Wedding Perfect INFACT ! Me and my wife body stil dey sweet us like this. .. NOTHING UNA FIT DO OR SAY MAKE UP will never change the facts that we had a fairytale wedding! And one of the best days of not the best day of our lives! The whole world celebrated us!”
He bragged that theirs was a fairytale wedding, one of the best days of their lives, in which the whole world celebrated them.
True to this claim, Nicki Minaj, an American superstar rapper, used the opportunity to congratulate him. Replying to his post with a simple congratulatory message and a plethora of emojis.
She wrote,

The message from the rapper does not come as a surprise, as it is not the first time she has given her blessing to the celebrity couple; she has also expressed admiration for the singer previously .
