Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, has expressed sorrow over the death of his Special Adviser on Community Development, Hon. Nasidi Danladi Garki.
Garki, a prominent grassroots mobiliser and respected public servant, died in the early hours of Saturday. He hailed from Garki town in Baure Local Government Area.
Governor Radda, in a condolence message, described the late Garki as a dedicated and humble patriot who served Katsina State with loyalty and passion for community upliftment.
“Hon. Nasidi Danladi Garki was not just a close associate but a deeply committed son of Katsina State. In his role as Special Adviser on Community Development, he championed the cause of rural inclusion and community engagement with sincerity and passion,” the governor said.
Radda noted that Garki’s death is a great loss to his administration, the deceased’s family, and all who worked closely with him.
He added, “The late Garki played an instrumental role in bridging the gap between government and the grassroots, especially in rural empowerment programs and social mobilisation efforts under the current administration.”
Governor Radda extended his heartfelt condolences to the deceased’s immediate family, the people of Baure LGA, and the entire Katsina State.
