“He deserves worst” – Fani-Kayode launches fresh scathing attack on Emefiele

“He deserves worst” – Fani-Kayode launches fresh scathing attack on Emefiele

A former Minister of Aviation and chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Femi Fani-Kayode, on Tuesday prayed for God’s judgement and curse to be on Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele “for punishing Nigerians”.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) said the old N200, N500 and N1000 notes remain legal tender until December 31, 2023.

Isa Abdulmumin, CBN spokesperson, announced the development in a statement on Monday evening.

Two weeks ago, the Supreme Court invalidated the naira redesign policy introduced by the CBN, citing a defective timing and implementation.

Delivering judgment in a suit instituted by three states of the federation, a seven-member panel of the apex court held that the old N200, N500 and N1000 notes remain legal tender until the end of the year.

However, over one week since the verdict, neither the CBN governor nor the attorney-general of the federation made any official statement about compliance with the apex court ruling.

The uncertainty about the true status of things prompted traders and businesses across the country to continue rejecting the old currency.

The apex bank’s statement comes few hours  after the presidency said the CBN had no reason not to comply with court orders on the excuse of waiting for directives from President Muhammadu Buhari.

Reacting after the CBN broke its silence, Fani-Kayode wrote on his verified Twitter handle: “Godwin has finally been thrown under the bus. He deserves worst. A psychotic & vicious sociopath, he is undoubtedly the most sadistic soul that has ever been given a position of power in our nations history. His cruelty surpasses all others & his wickedness has no limitations.

“His fecal name will be a reference point for cruelty, barbarity, sadism, insensitivity, villainy, infamy, terror, fascism, corruption, thievery & shame until the end of time & he will pay a heavy price for his callousness & greed both in this life & the life to come.

“Not even a sick & rabid old dog deserves the name Godwin Emefiele: such a name is best reserved for filthy sewers & stinking public toilets. History & posterity will treat him with the harshness, contempt, scorn & disdain that he deserves & he WILL be brought to justice.

“When he dies the following words shall be written on his gravestone:

“Here lies Godwin the fool who thought that he would live forever, who thought that power lay in the hands of mere mortals and who thought that money was greater than God. May he burn in hell forever”.

“To the millions that lost their livelihoods, businesses, savings, lives & loved ones as a consequence of his calculated, reckless & premeditated intransigence and wickedness I say the following: behold the finger of the Lord who delivered us from our collective tormentor & the troubler of our nation.

“Behold the power of our strength, our salvation, our deliverer & our redeemer who brought the thief, the slave of vanity, the son of perdition, the servant of shaitan, the beastly tyrant & the man of blood to his knees.Glory be unto His holy name.

“As it was for Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, Herod, Jezebel, Athalia and Sennacherub so it shall be for Godwin and all those that applauded, encouraged and supported him in his cruel venture and relentless wickedness to the Nigerian people.”
