How Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl 2026 halftime show look paid tribute to Puerto Rico

Bad Bunny’s electric Super Bowl 2026 halftime show performance was a love letter to his native Puerto Rico — and his stage outfit wasn’t the only one loaded with meaning.

Lady Gaga joined the “Tití Me Preguntó” singer onstage during the show, belting out her hit “Die With a Smile” in a powder blue pleated dress designed by Brooklyn-based Dominican-American fashion designer Raul López of Luar.

“For the culture and for all immigrants- This is how we come together,” the brand shared on Instagram.

Pinned over Gaga’s heart was a custom Piers Atkinson brooch featuring Puerto Rico’s signature flower, the Flor de Maga, and the “Bad Romance” songstress sported a bold lip, glossy manicure and ankle-strap heels that matched the symbolic accessory.

Bleached brows and platinum waves finished the superstar’s look for the big game.

Gaga was just one of a handful of major names to make surprise appearances during the halftime show; Cardi B, Pedro Pascal, Karol G, Jessica Alba all popped up during Bad Bunny’s performance as well.

Gaga headlined the Super Bowl halftime show in 2017, hitting the stage in an array of appropriately theatrical Atelier Versace looks.

She performed a medley of her greatest hits, including “Poker Face,” “Born This Way,” “Telephone,” “Just Dance,” “Million Reasons” and “Bad Romance.”
