“I am sure dad will be proud of us” – Children Honour Their Late Father by Eating at His Favourite Pounded Yam Spot After His Funeral (WATCH)

In a touching moment of remembrance, a group of siblings paid tribute to their late father in a deeply personal way by visiting his favourite pounded yam (iyan) spot shortly after his funeral service.

According to one of the children, @dam_woww, their father’s favorite place to enjoy pounded yams was a local restaurant before he passed away.

After laying him to rest, they decided that the best way to honor his memory was to gather at that same Iyan spot and eat in his name.

The heartwarming scene shows the children enjoying a meal of pounded yams while reminiscing about their dad’s love for good food and family time.

They believed this was the best way to mourn, and they felt that their dad would be proud of them.
