A man’s post revealing his ex-girlfriend’s reaction after her husband surprised him with dollars at a Lagos airport has gone viral online.
The man, identified as Comr Ishaku Kingsley Hassan on Facebook , shared that he initially exchanged pleasantries with the couple at the airport.

Subsequently, he struck up a conversation with the couple and informed them about his upcoming wedding, and his ex-girlfriend’s husband handed over $300 to him as support.
Sharing how he reacted to the man’s unexpected gesture, the Facebook user stated, “i said everything is going well, this man bring his wallet low & behold he bring $100, 3 note ($300) & give me, & said marriage support, I was shock but I maintain my steez collect it put in my put & thank him special”.
According to the man’s account, he hasn’t been handled dollars, which belonged to him, since the start of 2026, admitting he left Gombe for Abuja in search of money .
Man Displays Ex-girlfriend’s Text
In his now-viral post, the Facebook user displayed a message from his ex-girlfriend expressing disappointment in him for accepting money from her husband.
”Why you disappoint me like this, you for no collect hype you in his presence but you collected and even thanked him“, She stated in the text.
In response, he stated, “I want to even squad down and thank him. I no dey envy grace, abeg no dey package me in my helpers eyes”.
