INEC denies issuing identity cards to security personnel

Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has denied any link with identity card for security personnel bearing the name and logo of the Commission with an inscription “Complete Access”.

The Commission’s disclaimer was contained in a statement signed by the National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye, Esq a copy of which Sundiata Post intercepted.

INEC therefore called on security agencies to be on the look out for anyone bearing such and identity card and arrest him/her.
