‘Is it a curse’, Tinubu’s aide trolls Peter Obi for referring to Adebanjo as ‘Daddy’

Bayo Onanuga, a media aide to President-elect Bola Tinubu, has taken to social media to mock former Vice Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, over his use of the term “Daddy” to refer to political figures.

Obi had recently referred to Pa Ayo Adebanjo, a prominent Yoruba leader, as “Daddy” in a congratulatory message on the occasion of the elder statesman’s 95th birthday.

This comes after Obi was previously criticized for referring to Bishop David Oyedepo of the Winners Chapel as “Daddy” in a purported telephone conversation that went viral.

In response to Obi’s latest use of the term “Daddy,” Onanuga tweeted, “Peter Obi can’t just stop saying ‘Daddy’. Is it a curse?”
