ISPON Ogun strengthens Ties With firm In Pursuit Of Enhanced Safety Standards

The Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON), Ogun State Branch, has taken a significant step towards promoting occupational safety and health in the state by strengthening ties with a firm Nestle Nigeria PLC , Agbara, Ogun state.

Speaking during a courtesy visit to the firm, the state Chairman, ISPON, Mr Temitope Amoo noted that the visit highlights ISPON’s commitment to fostering a safer work environment and its recognition of Nestlé’s exemplary safety standards.

Amoo seek partnership with the firm in a bid to achieve a drive safety culture across industries.

ISPON, however expressed satisfaction with the high level of safety compliance observed at the facility, describing Nestlé Nigeria PLC as a model organization in the implementation of workplace safety standards in manufacturing companies in the state and world at large.

The institute however restates its commitment to partnering with corporate organizations to promote best practices in occupational safety, health, and environmental management, while encouraging continuous improvement across industries for the protection of workers and the general public.

Also in his remarks , Nestlé Country Safety, Health and Environmental Sustainability Manager,Mr. Raphael Fischer, commended ISPON Ogun state chapter for its efforts in promoting occupational safety and health.

He however urged the leadership of ISPON to continue to reach out to stakeholders while fostering collaboration with relevant agencies to strengthen safety culture across sectors.

Fischer, reiterated the firm’s commitment to environmental sustainability practices.

The delegation which was led by the State Chairman, Mr. Amoo Temitope also witnessed the attendance of the State Secretary, Mr. Emiloju Samson Damilare, Dr. Oladipo Gbeminiyi, Mr. Adeoye Ezekiel and Mr. Egbedokun Oyewole.

“Our visits to the Nestle Nigeria PLC today highlights ISPON’s commitment to fostering a safer work environment and its recognition of Nestlé’s exemplary safety standards.

“In a bid to promote more improved safety standards across industries in the state , we seek partnership with Nestle Nigeria PLC and other industries to achieve a drive safety culture across industries.”
