It’s like the scale fell off my eyes

A Nigerian chef, Abeni, has recalled when a friend called her an ordinary caterer during a misunderstanding between them.

Abeni, who disclosed this on Wednesday said those two words made her realise that the person was never a real friend. 

“Someone I thought was my friend called me an ORDINARY CATERER during a misunderstanding. You see those 2 words? Changed everything for me, I saw them for who they were after that. It’s like the scale fell of my eyes. There is nothing ordinary about me, no matter what I do, I do it big. If I choose to stop catering and do something else, it’ll still be huge. Act like you know,” she wrote.
