Iwobi, Chukwueze score in Fulham loss to Man City as Haaland sets record

Nigeria duo of Alex Iwobi and Samuel Chukwueze both found the back of the net on Tuesday night but could not help Fulham overcome Manchester City.

Iwobi scored once and Chukwueze bagged a brace in Fulham’s 4-5 home defeat to Manchester City whose Erling Haaland broke a record for himself.

The Norwegian striker became the quickest player to reach 100 goals in Premier League history.

He reached the century in 111 league games, 13 fewer than it took previous record holder Alan Shearer.

The win moves Manchester City two points behind leaders Arsenal, albeit having played a game more, with the Gunners hosting Brentford on Wednesday.

In the other Premier League games played on Tuesday, Everton defeated Bournemouth 1-0 while Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur played a thrilling 2-2 draw.
