The Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Hyacinth Aondona Dajoh, has resigned from office.
Our correspondent reports that this development comes barely two days after the Assembly on Friday slammed four lawmakers with a three-month suspension over what fellow colleagues described as a plot to plunge the chamber into chaos.
Dajoh in a handwritten letter he signed, did not give any resign for his resignation which he stated was done in good fate.
